Our activities are suitable for dogs of all ages and we take into account their individual needs and preferences.
By joining our activities, your dog will enjoy many benefits, such as improved physical fitness, mental stimulation, socialization with other small dogs, and exposure to different environments and stimuli. Your dog will also have a lot of fun and excitement, and will come home tired and satisfied.
Our activities are specially designed for small dogs of any breed, size, and age group. We also group them according to their compatibility and temperament, so they can have the best possible experience with us.

We use positive reinforcement, encouragement and attention to make sure our dogs have a great time with us. And we offer hypoallergenic treats as rewards for good behaviour. We don’t believe in punishment or harsh methods.
We love all dogs, but we want them to be happy and comfortable in our group activities. That’s why we only accept dogs that are friendly and well-behaved with other dogs. If your dog has some behaviour issues or aggression, we can’t take them with us, but we can recommend some excellent trainers who can help you.
Your dog will need a lead and a harness for safety and comfort. If your dog has any favourite treats that you want us to use as rewards, please bring them along in their day bag. We will take care of the rest, like poo bags, water, etc. Also, if the weather is cold, don’t forget to pack a jacket or a jumper for your dog to keep them warm.
Yes, of course! We welcome puppies that have completed their vaccinations and are ready to socialise. Our activities are a great way for them to learn and play with other dogs. As for neutering, we can accept unneutered puppies on a case-by-case basis.
Our adventure days are tailored for all age groups. We have strollers for our elderly dogs who want to join but may need some rest. As a small dog provider, we are aware of the physical limits of our little adventurers and we do not aim to hike long distances every day – we focus on exploring new environments and enjoying new smells at a leisurely pace.
We always check our areas before visiting to make sure they are safe, dog friendly and the appropriate length.
Once a month, we have a swim day – so look for the water droplet on the calendar.
We monitor the weather report closely at Little adventurers and while we think it is important to get our pooches out exploring, their health and safety come first. If the temperature is too hot for our little adventurers, we will offer a free drop in service to make sure they are ok. The same applies for snow and other adverse weather conditions. If however the weather is moderately warm up to 23 degrees, we will try to provide cooling jackets, extra fresh water, cooling mats in their travel crates, air conditioning and reduced physical activity. We will also prioritize woodlands/ shaded areas and shallow lakes to keep them cool. In the colder months, we are happy to provide jumpers and jackets to our long standing members where we can, heated beds and blankets when possible.
Follow our social media accounts for upcoming events and Saturday events as well. We understand that everyone’s needs are different so look out for our weekend openings.
We assess every dog on an individual basis.
We are very careful about the size and composition of our groups. We only allow up to 5 dogs per person, and we always have at least two staff members present. This way, we can keep an eye on every dog and make sure they are having fun and getting along with each other. We also match the dogs based on their personality, energy level and play style, so they can enjoy the activities with compatible friends.
Of course, you can! We love to reward our furry clients with yummy treats. Just pack them in a sealed bag and label them with your dog’s name. If your dog has any dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us know in advance and fill out the vetting forms accordingly.
If your dog is feeling under the weather, please contact us as soon as possible. We care about your dog’s well-being and we don’t want them to miss out on the fun. We will gladly reschedule your booking to another day that suits you better.
Yes, we do! We appreciate our loyal customers and we want to reward them for choosing us. If you book 1 session per week, you get a 5% discount. If you book 2 sessions per week, you get a 10% discount. And if you book 3 sessions per week, you get a whopping 15% discount! How awesome is that?
We recommend booking your activity session as early as possible, as our regular adventurers have priority access to our calendar, which is updated daily with our availability.
Yes, you can transfer your activity session to another dog, as long as the other dog has been vetted by Little Adventurers. Please let us know in advance so we can update our records.
Little Adventurers, we care about the safety and well-being of our furry friends. That’s why we have a clear protocol for emergency situations during activities. All our locations are close to a local vet, and we will contact the emergency contact you provided on your sign-up form as soon as possible. We will discuss the situation with you and decide the best course of action. If needed, we will take your dog to the nearest vet clinic, and you will be responsible for the costs. Don’t worry, we always have at least two staff members on duty, so one of them will handle the emergency while the other one will bring the rest of the dogs home safely. We know how scary these situations can be, so we are prepared with a first aid kit and training for dogs.
We understand that sometimes plans change, and you may need to cancel a scheduled activity session. If that happens, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance, and we will refund your payment. If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, we won’t be able to issue a refund.
We welcome all kinds of dogs to join our activities, as long as they are not banned in the UK. You can check the list of banned breeds here: Banned dogs – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk). If you have a small dog, you can also check out our list of small breeds that we accept: Small Dog Breeds – A List of Small Dog Breeds from A – Z
We know that some dogs have their favourite toys that they love to play with. You can bring them along, as long as they are small and soft. We don’t recommend bringing balls or other toys that could cause conflict or jealousy among the dogs. We have plenty of toys and balls that we provide during our activities, so your dog won’t miss out on the fun.
Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! Just let us know in advance what your furry friend can and can’t eat, and we’ll make sure to prepare a suitable menu for them. We have experience with dogs who are allergic to grass, so we plan our routes carefully to avoid any discomfort. We want your dog to enjoy their adventure with us, so we’re happy to accommodate their needs as much as possible.
At Little adventurers, we believe in making positive and friendly introductions. We keep our groups small, so one staff member can focus on socializing and monitoring our new member. We understand that meeting new dogs can be stressful for some, so we never force them to do anything they’re not comfortable with. If they show signs of anxiety or fear, we can take them aside for some one-on-one time to support them.
We are sorry to hear that your dog did not enjoy our activity. Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds for this situation. However, we are happy to recommend you another service that might suit your dog better. We understand that every dog is different and has different preferences.
We are glad that you are interested in learning more about your dog’s behavior and needs. We have a great connection with a qualified behaviorist in the Surrey area who can help you with any issues or questions you have. We can arrange a free consultation for you with them if you like.
We know how hard it is for some dogs to cope with being away from their owners. We will try to make them feel comfortable and safe with us by getting to know their personality and triggers. We will also keep in touch with you and update you on their progress. If we think that your dog is not benefiting from our service, we will let you know and suggest another option. Please also check out these links from the Dogs Trust, RSPCA and Petstock for more information and support on separation anxiety in dogs.
We understand that some dogs may have aggression issues due to various reasons, such as fear, anxiety, or trauma. We do not judge or punish these dogs, but we try to help them overcome their challenges with positive reinforcement and professional guidance. We have a team of certified dog trainers and behaviourists who can assess and work with your dog to improve their social skills and confidence. We also have a separate area for dogs who need more space and attention, where they can enjoy activities that suit their needs and preferences.
Absolutely! We would love to meet you and your dog and show you what we have to offer. A trial session is a great way to see if your dog is compatible with our program and our staff. You can book a trial session online or by phone, and we will arrange a convenient time for you to visit us. During the trial session, you can watch your dog interact with other dogs and our staff, and ask any questions you may have.
You can expect to see a happier, healthier, and more balanced dog after joining our activities. Our activities are designed to stimulate your dog’s mind, body, and spirit, and to provide them with fun, exercise, and socialization. Your dog will learn new skills, make new friends, and have a blast every time they come to us. You will also notice that your dog will be more relaxed, calm, and obedient at home, as they will release their pent-up energy and stress in a positive way.
Of course you can. We care about your dog’s well-being and we want them to enjoy their time with us. If your dog is sick or injured, please let us know as soon as possible and we will reschedule your session for another day. We have a flexible cancellation policy and we do not charge any fees for rescheduling. However, we do appreciate your cooperation and courtesy in informing us in advance.
